Mr. Reichert’s Summer Boston Trip

Come join us for an unforgettable history trip to Boston, Massachusetts.  Mr. Bruce Reichert has been asked for years to lead a trip like this, and finally plans are coming together for this to become a reality.  Check out the information below and sign up soon to be part of this amazing adventure!

To reserve a spot for you and your family on the trip, your non-refundable $500 per-traveler deposit will be due June 1, 2018. Final payment will be due June 15, 2018. We will take a maximum of 50 travelers.  If there are less than 20 that sign up, your deposit will be refunded to you and the trip will be canceled.

 

What: The First Ever Mr. Reichert’s Extended Summer Boston Trip

Who: Current students, alumni, former students, family members, any SDA member that wants to go on an amazing sites-seeing trip in American and SDA history

When: Sunday, June 24, at 7:30 A.M. (the day after Michigan Campmeeting ends) and returning on Monday, July 2, at about 5:45 p.m.

Where: GLAA coach bus will leave Cedar Lake at 7:30 A.M., Lansing at 8:45 A.M., and Ann Arbor at 9:45 A.M. and arrive back at the same spots during mid to late afternoon Monday, July 2.

How: Led by Mr. Bruce Reichert who will be leader/tour guide of his 36th tour of New England. This is the first time that he has invited parents, siblings, alumni, and SDA church members to go on this unforgettable adventure.

Why: If you love history, or….. love to travel, or…….you are a teacher and want to earn 1 non-academic credit for re-certification, or…..you’ve heard how much fun thousands of people have had on previous trips and you want to live or relive these memories.

 

Specifics: The trip is for anyone 8 years old and older that can walk some days quite extensively. We will take the first 50 people that submit a $500.00 non-refundable deposit. There are special rates for student-aged kids, family with 1 or 2 kids/room, married couples etc. The more people that go, the less the cost will be to go. All kids under 21 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.

Trip Information

  • Open for any alumnus, student, family member, SDA member that would like to go
  • Sunday June 24 (Day after Campmeeting) to Monday July 2
  • Any child 8-20 must have at least 1 adult chaperone
  • All breakfasts + 2 lunches + 1 supper are covered in cost. You are responsible for all other meal costs. Water bottles will be covered and provided
  • Cost of trip goes down based upon the number of people going

  • Adventist teachers can receive 1 non-academic credit towards recertification
