Spiritual Opportunities

Great Lakes Adventist Academy is one of the most distinctly Adventist, church-operated, Seventh-day Adventist boarding schools in North America.

Deliberate effort is made on behalf of each student to expose them to the warm rays of God’s love. Through three weeks of prayer, student-led evangelistic series, worships, prayer in classes, student-led Bible study groups in the dorms, Prayer Warriors, Flamekeepers Prayer Groups and the entire staff seeking to model Christ, students are led to catch a vision of the beauty of surrender.

Students are given the opportunity to get involved in making theoretical religion practical and relational by participating in an evangelistic series, going on a mission trip, participating in Bible studies, being part of our touring groups, either the gymnastic team or music, sharing their testimony, and going to Bible Camp among many things. Some opportunities are on a one-on-one basis, such as praying with a fellow student or staff member in the office.
